Question on kava

Well, my trip to the Netherlands/Germany/Belgium/France was great

and I managed to get through all of the flights without a panic

attack! I was using the kava, valerian and other herbs to help and

they did help. I wanted to thank everyone who advised me before my

trip :)

My problem now is I am having anxiety and have no idea why. The

night we returned I woke up with my heart skipping beats and racing

and then had severe anxiety and couldn't shake it even with the

herbs. I tried rescue remedy as well as herbal calming teas, liquid

herbals, etc. I feel as though I may have an underlying heart

problem that causes the anxiety attacks. I say this because usually

when the anxiety starts it is after my heart begins to go into weird

patterns - like fluttering, thumping, skipping, extra beats, pain

sometimes and dizziness. I feel these sensations and immediatly go

into anxiety overload fearing something is wrong with my heart.

Should I be tested? I only seem to have the anxiety with these

episodes which are happening more and more lately. I am totally for

using herbals to treat my problem but how do I determine if there is

even a real problem?

Thanks for your help

Hi Tori !

First of all try to relax when you have a spell. The worry will add

stress, tighten muscles, restrict blood vessels and simply add to

the situation.

Are you drinking any form of caffine? Caffine is known for creating

the symptoms you are expressing.

My first recommendation would be to ensure you are not getting any

caffine. Then drops of Cayenne tincture in water would be helpful

as would a Nerve Sedative formula or Lobelia to relax the body.

In addition, if you are not consuming any caffine, I would get on

the Heart formula.

Tori,

alcohol, caffeine, processed food, smoking ,meat and diary, all contribute

to your concerns, what do you think really is at the basis of this??

Exercise , Yoga, massage, will all help! . I suspect your calcium and

magnesium are off balance...Our Total Nutrition and Body Balance will help

with this...and Our Nerve Sedative Tea and Formula will support a wired

nervous system.... you have to ask what am I doing to contribute to this?

Contact me if I can be of further help.. Now take some deep breathes and a

glass of water, maybe go for a walk...
