Guest guest
Tony, Then you know even more than I do about its toxic nature of Flouride. My eyes itch when I take showers since our wonderful city added Floride to our water without a vote. We fought it all the way. Even got two professors from Harvard to fly down here for a question answer session with our water treatment and city commissioners and mayor. We invited 19 people and not one showed up. There was a stage with tables and chairs and place card names of who was suppose to be there. We heard the City was not too happy about this and that our actions were causing a stir. About 200 concerned citizens showed up and we had news coverage. The room was big enough for over 600. The two professors brought books on Flouride and answered more questions than we had. They told us to continue our fight which we did but we lost. Anyway this stuff is deadly. Many places have issues disposing of flourides. It is so bad in some areas that the incoming water has 3 ppm flouride and the amount allowed to dump is 1 ppm.Valorie Shillington <ValorieShillington (AT) Knology (DOT) net> wrote: I have to comment on the fluoride issue. The reason it is in our water is that the corporation who has fluoride as a byproduct and would have to pay millions to dispose of it properly as a toxic waste has convinced people that it is good. So instead of paying millions to dispose of it, they sell it to cities as a health aid to add to the city water supply. Go figure how people fall for this. States that do not fluorinate their water source have no more cavities than states who do according to studies. Cindy ### _______________________________ No one ever said there has to be reasoning behind something like whether or not we have fluoride in our water or not. It's just one of those things that happens. You can choose not to drink the water, some people even put traps on their showers, tubs and sinks (available at the hardware store) I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism when I was younger and it is a completely "catch all" diagnosis. Doctors just use it to get payment from the insurance companies. In my humble opinion, Doctors are out of control, we need to take responsibility for our own health and heal ourselves.
