Guest guest Posted August 17, 2006 Report Share Posted August 17, 2006 Hello My name is Mary Anna and I am new to the group.....Wondering if you could give me input regarding black widow spider bites......My son was bit today at work; taken to the hospital.....He was given IV, Morphine, and Valium......Nothing stops the pain because the venom attacks the nerves......So they have him the valium to relax him.......He is a welder and it was 105 degrees when bitten.....He will not be able to work until Monday at the earliest if then.......Any help is appreciated!
