Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am hoping someone out there on this board can help me. I am in search of a herbals / natural supplements for anxiety/stress. I have 3 children, one who is autistic, and I always feel like I am one step away from disaster, I never know what I am going to walk into.... flooded bathrooms, destroyed furniture, peeling drywall.....he's on meds but its always something, but I will tell you there are moments when I really could use something to just take me down a notch.....at the same time, I really don't want to go on prozac, or zoloft or other prescription meds. Any input for this frazzled mom is so greatly appreciated! Cat Get your email and more, right on the new .com
Guest guest
This is not for your stress, but for your autistic child. I have a nephew who is autistic, and believe me, he did everything. My sil did a lot of research on autism and found that they lack certain intestinal flora. Because of this they turn gluten into a varient of morphine. They do the distructive things partly to get any sensation into their drugged state. They cut all gluten in my nephews diet, did a major detox, including a heavy metal detox, and he is much better and more controlable now. Guest guest
while we are on the subject of gluten here, I wanted to ask some questions. I seem to catch everything that comes around, every bug that is out there, gets to me. It has gotten so bad that my boss has even asked me to start trying to get healthy because it is affecting my work absences. He realizes that I am not faking this that I do get sick and so for the past couple of months, I was really taking a lot of vitamins, I have really started eating fish, and turkey and plenty of vegetables and I was getting better. My illnesses were not as bad and I did get through some viruses that went through our office without getting sick (this was a first for me). But now, however, I got sick again this weekend and my boss again today came to me and started talking about cutting the glutens out of my diet. Can you give me more information on this? It will be very hard for me to cut breads and pastas out of my diet, my family is italian and I didn't think all that was bad for me. Even to help myself, I started eating wheat breads instead of the white breads and I found out today that wheat breads are bad as well. Please give me some advice about the gluten problems and how I can cut them out of my diet without sacrificing too much for myself. Guest guest
Hi Cat, I'd recommend herb teas that are high in Calcium. We make and sell a tea we call "Cal Calm Tea" as it contains herbs that are high in Calcium and tends to relax the body. It also tastes good and smells good so is relaxing from that standpoint. The herbs in it are: Chamomile Flowers, Red Clover Blossoms, Respberry Leaves, Peppermint Leaf, Lemon Grass, Mullein Leaf and Flower. Also the Nerve Sedative and Lobelia formulas are very relaxing to the body. They are stronger and more immediate than the tea. Guest guest
I too used to catch about everything that came around. What made the biggest help for me was when I started taking probiotics on a regular basis. I have not been sick in almost 2 years, give it a try for at least 6-8 weeks and see if it helps.
