A young (20 year old) man we know has just been diaganosed with this on his face and the antibiotics don't seem to be working at all. He is currently in the hospital and they have lanced an area to drain but it doesn't want to drain. He is on IV over night and we are very concerned. It only seems to get worse. He had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic and so he is still in the hospital. The doctors had lanced his face to drain and it has only gotten worse since. Thanks for responding, Jen. Guest guest Posted August 16, 2006 Report Share Posted August 16, 2006 -- Hi Dawn, I would recommend Colloidal Silver for a staph infection, the body does not build up a resistance to this natural antibiotic and he should not have a reaction. I would use it topically and internally to get rid of the infection. And definatley use the immune boosters that were suggested.:)But, if he is ingesting another antibiotic from his doc. then i would just use it topically as it would be too much on the system... Also, after all is said and done with the antibiotics he should definatley take Acidophilus to put back the good bacteria that it has wiped out.
