So now that my son is sick, how much echinacea can I give him? He will not take the total tonic-I tried :-) He took the echinacea (3/4 of a dropper-his dose just once a day for maintenance) for 5 days, yesterday he took it once and then had homeopathic sniffle drops and fever drops with it in there, then today so far he's had one dose of echinacea--so how often and how much? I guess i'm afraid of giving him too much if that's possible. Thanks.

Hi Marci, I have a 4 year old daughter that hasn't takin anything

but herbal remedies since day one. I giver her 3/4 of a dropper

every 2 or 3 hours for the first 2 days this will give the immune

system the boost it needs to fight off the cold. I also give her

1000mil of vit.c every 2 to 3 hours along with the ech.. Then i will

drop it down to about 3500mil of vit. c throughout the day and the

ech. 4x a day till its gone....which is usually 3 days max....then i

will put her back on her regular maint....Depending on the cold i

will bring in differrent remedies to boost. I will say thet

elderberry and ech. are my favorites...hope this helps...and i know

i am a little late with the info but, hope it helps for next time.

Be well, Sandy

ps,. if you notice he is having loose stools cut the vit.c dose in

half:)
