Guest guest
Maybe not! I had a similar experience a few years ago (and I was freaking out). If the lumps are small, it is more likely a clogged sweat gland. I was using an herbal product caleld lavlin (once a week deoserant) and I found a cheap version I started using isntead. I then notcied these lumps a few weeks later. After NOT USING any deoderant for a week, they went away! Guest guest
Years ago I had a friend who got painful lumps under her arms and when she went to the Medico he told her it was caused by the stick rub on type of deodorant she had been using. He told her to never never use that stick deodorant stuff again. Just thought I'd mention that in case it could be any helpl Barbara in the wilds of Wyoming
Guest guest
It's from the aluminum in the anti-perspirant formulas, so buy aluminum-free only, ie deodorant only. Guest guest
there is a small chance the lumps are part of your milk ducts clogging up. if that is the case you probably already know ow to massage them out. I know when I stopped breastfeeding and even while I was I would get a clog now and then. my cousin had it happen very very badly with her 2nd child. it might sound arfetched but really its not. that’s why they say to check your armpits during self exams. melisa
Guest guest
Deoderants mask/cover up smells. The anti perspiratnts such as aluminum salts actually leave a chemical which clogs your sweat glands when you sweat.AnnaY <b26525 wrote: It's from the aluminum in the anti-perspirant formulas, so buy aluminum-free only, ie deodorant only. Guest guest
Are you in Florida? Jenypoons1123 <ypoons1123 wrote: On Tuesday I noticed a very painful lump in my armpit. After a little research and based on size and shape, I have decided it is a lymph node. I searched the archives here immediately. Then on Thursday, another one *popped up*. Today there is another one. I am really starting to freak out!I started hydrotherapy right away, but it is a PITA since I don't have a shower wand. It is possible to achieve the same results without the water, with a heating pad and an ice pack? How long should I maintain each temperature before switching to the next?I do not have a rebounder, but I do walk two miles a day, five times a week and chase a toddler every day. I have an exercise bike, would that work? Is the point of the rebounder just to get the blood flowing? The only difference I can think of is that I have been gorging myself on fresh tomatoes from the garden. I have consumes at least 50 in the last week, juiced, in salads, or in homemade pasta sauce. All of the *chemicals* used on the garden and lawn are organic, so there would be no pesticide residue from that, but I do live fairly close to a BP refinery which I know emits some nasty garbage. I have been making so many healthier choices since the year began, and I am drinking lots of water. I do not eat wheat in any form and I rarely have sugar. I take no medications, aside from an herbal preparation or homeopathic. I don't feel *sick*, just the pain from the lumps.I am limited in the what I can do right now, as I am breastfeeding my daughter, so cleanses are out of the question. I certainly do not want to visit a medico because I know the answer will be removal of the lymph nodes in the area. This is not an option because lymphedema (and cutting out part of my body to boot) scares me! I noticed that the affected arm is slightly larger than the other, but it could be my imagination. I was thinking of increasing Vitamin C intake, to assist in flushing out the lymph system, would this be beneficial?Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!Samantha http://www.myspace.com/granniejen visit~website at jmichelleboutique.com
Guest guest
How does one, and is it even possible to, unclog the lymphs after using anti-perspirants for many years? Get your email and more, right on the new .com
