Guest guest
Thanks so much to everyone with all the helpful tips I was wondering, Ann, if you know how one might acquire the ingredients you listed in a slightly cheaper manner than our average health food store, which is really my only source right now... The butters and beeswax, and particularly the EO's. My " Wish list " for future endeavors includes learning to make my own EO's, but I have to take baby steps or I'll go broke! LOL! I recently priced some of the EO's at the local store and they were GAWD aweful! I am scared to try the garlic (lol... thanks Marci but I just have a lot of burning as it is! Maybe AFTER the TBC I can try it if it doesn't ease up before then...) and I really can't try the shallots theory yet, since I am cleansing and have sworn off all dairy... unless maybe I could use an olive oil or something instead maybe? Hmmm... something to look into... ;o) Thanks so much for all the help though... the irritation really has been minimal, but I'd love to actually get rid of it all together! If I can't, I will live... lol Love and Blessings!! ~Raaven PS... what is a Hydrosol? And do you just mix everything together? LOL Sorry, I am still new to " do-it-yourself " remedies, but I am a humble student! ;o) ***Natural all the way - shea butter, mango > butter, beeswax, some good oils and make your emulsion with distilled water > or a hydrosol. I use essential oils of lavender and tea tree always, and > chamomile for the hemorrhoids and diaper rash - anti-inflammatories.
