Guest guest
I just got some of Doc's herbal snuff because it seems like I am always stuffed up and blowing my nose, even when I'm not sick. I knew the stuff would be super intense and burn my nose some. My questions are 1) How long is this burning going to last! 2) is there a way to ease the burning after a certain amount of time or is that not recommended and 3) is there a way to keep in from dripping down into my throat because that seems to hurt the most. Thanks! Ally
Guest guest
Hi Ally ! Did you get the instructions with your snuff? 1. The burning will last about 20 to 30 minutes. Your eyes will water as well. You will want to blow your nose. Do not do this. Instead keep breathing in through your nose. This is a bit intense. I just make sure I'm not going anywhere for the next hour or so as your eyes may get red and you'll be coughing and snorting. 2. The burning will subside on its own. You do not want to do anything. Let it run its time. 3. Dripping down into the throat is a good indicator that the channels are opening up. It would be ok to drink some water if this helps. This is really a funny experience. I usually do it with someone. Once I did it with a 14 year old teenager who was scared to do it. When I offered to do it with him, he was game. It is well worth doing and far less intense that surgery. I've known people who have handled long term sinus infections this way.
