Guest guest
Note: forwarded message attached. Try soaking your foot in vinegar or dip a qtip in vinegar and rub it on your infected toe(s) daily eventually the infected toe will grow out. Try not to miss a day the fungus will spread again if you do. Keep your toenails clipped as you clip away the infected nail a new nail will grow in its place. Dear Folks, I have that yucky nail fungus but refuse to take the meds the doctor wants to push on me. I've had kidney problems in the past & don't want to take a chance. Too many risks, if ya ask me. However, I thought some of you experts could tell me of any natural remedies that would work. Thanks so much for your time! Guest guest
I use a medicine dropper to soak my big toe nail with rubbing alcohol every morning and evening. I've been doing this since April. The nail is finally coming in looking healthy, clear and strong. BTW, someone else in this user group made this suggestion, and, whoever made it -- Thank You! I've had a toenail fungus problem for more than 20 years and the "saturate with alcohol" method is the only approach that has worked. Guest guest
How do you soak your big toe in a medicine dropper? Do you mean that you just pour alcohol over your toe? If you do soak it - how long do you do it for? I took someone else's suggestion about a month ago and have been using tiger balm for a month - morning and evening. I haven't noticed a difference yet but I was thinking about doing something else in addition (like rubbing alcohol) just to speed the process along. any opinions on if that is a good/bad idea? What are the directions for rubbing alcohol for nail fungus? Thanks, Deena herbal remedies , Mitch Mitchell <b25mitchellman wrote: > > I use a medicine dropper to soak my big toe nail with > rubbing alcohol every morning and evening. Guest guest
This convo reminded me of what Doc wrote July 5th in reply to the use of rubbing alcohol " on or in the body " : " Gadzooks!!!! Don't use rubbing alcohol as this has been denatured. Not only will this lead to eventual toxicity, but it will promote parasites. The only alcohol you want to use on or in the body is pure grain ethanol. Use Vodka if you have to, but never use Rubbing Alcohol. Doc " It was news to me. Interesting. Makes sense.jill Quoted text: Do you mean that you just pour alcohol over your toe? If you do soak it - how long do you do it for? Guest guest
I tried the vinegar remedy faithfully and all it did was dry out the few bits of good nails I had. I have switched to listerine, the reg old fashioned kind and have good nails growing out now. it does work best if you can cut out or off as much of the fungal areas before using as it absorbs better. I've also heard camphor or vicks/mehtolatum rubs work too.

Guest guest
I had the fungus for more than 30 years (from 19 to 53) I used tea tree and lavender alternated. Sometimes clove too. Nothing very disciplinated It was Mont Blanc lavender. I had the fungus in all my toes. Caught it in the fishing boat I used to work in, always with wet feet. I'm really glad to having got rid of it. Have to spread the news. ;>) Ane* Novidade no Mail: receba alertas de novas mensagens no seu celular. Registre seu aparelho agora!
