Guest guest
So my son is still sneezing every day-sometimes just once in the morning and other times all day...seems there is no pattern as to what he eats...i'm hoping the echinacea off and on will help boost his immune system but should I maybe give him some type of probiotic? He doesn't eat much cheese or any dairy so he doesn't get yogurt or anything like that. I try to either give him the lemon egg or calcium chews for the calcium supplement--he's such a picky eater and refuses to take pretty much anything but i'm willing to try. Does this sound like it may be the problem? There is nothing else wrong with him-his health is great...thanks you all. Marci
Guest guest
HI MARCI ! I AGREE WITH THE PERSON WHO SAID TEMPERATURE CHANGES CAUSE SNEEZING. I'VE BEEN SNEEZING A BIT LATELY AND EVERY TIME I NOTICED A TEMPERATURE CHANGE. IF THIS IS THE ONLY SYMPTOM, I PERSONALLY WOULDN'T WORRY ABOUT IT. DOES HE KNOW YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT IT? Guest guest
Ok now i'm confused...that was all I thought until this morning...he awoke this morning sneezing, stuffy where he has constant congestion in there like he's sick...thing is, I started him on the echinacea 3 weeks ago-did week on week off now this is his week on and he acts like he's getting sick-I thought echinacea was supposed to boost his immune? I have no idea what to do with him...his ph runs between 6.5 and 7.5 so he's pretty good there and he drinks lots of water-only water, eats no sugar, eats only organic, has taken no medicine in probably 5 years, and it seems like he has sneezy allergy type things or he gets sick...he only goes to his karate class so obviously he picking it up there even though there are not many kids...what should I do with him from here? Any suggestions? He's very picky on what goes into his mouth so with this in mind... Guest guest
Hi Marci - have you tried aromatherapy. A simple blend of Eucalyptus, Rosemary and Peppermint should help. Equal amounts. You could add Basil. These are relatively inexpensive oils and can be found at any health food store. Mix them in a dark bottle (they usually sell the bottles as well) and drop a few drops on a tissue - have him sniff the tissue a few times each hour. These are antibacterials plus have antihistamine qualities so will help regardless of his immune system and whether it is bacterial or an allergy.
