Guest guest
Dear Folks, I have that yucky nail fungus but refuse to take the meds the doctor wants to push on me. I've had kidney problems in the past & don't want to take a chance. Too many risks, if ya ask me. However, I thought some of you experts could tell me of any natural remedies that would work. Thanks so much for your time! Guest guest
Black Walnut Hull Tincture is specific for fungus. I have a friend who used it on a mole and the mole fell off in about 2 months. Guest guest
Again - tea tree oil has been proven to be about the most effective and as effective as fungal pharmaceutical meds. You could add some straight (neat) to the nail bed and just let it soak it. It can take up to three months to actually heal it, but it does work. Guest guest
I had good luck with tea tree oil, full strength. It took awhile but the nail grew out healthy. Guest guest
*************************** I have that yucky nail fungus but refuse to take the meds the doctor wants to push on me. *************************** Kim, I have had a lot of success with straight Tea Tree oil. Apply it with a Q tip morning and night, trying to get it under the nail as well as on top until it's gone. Guest guest
another option would be oregano oil (if the fungus is resistant to the tea tree oil for some reason.)i've read that oils are best for treating nails because they help the herb get under the nail and into the nailbed - i thought that was an interesting point. jillOn 8/7/06, Cindy <paris_soap wrote: I had good luck with tea tree oil, full strength.
