Guest guest
My husband works construction and spends lots of time in the sun, recently he has noticed a little crusty patch, which resembles a scab, on top of his ear, it looks at times as if it will peel off but it doesn't...............and it is not a scab from a sore. I'm wondering if this is a form of skin cancer and if so does anyone have any good remedies for removing a skin cancer ontop of the ear ? thanks for any replies in advance, blessings, Marlene ps I've tried to get him to wear sunscreen, which he does SOMETIMES............ Guest guest
I would NOT recommend that your husband wear sun screen...! It is a petroleum product that actually clogs up your pores and will not let your skin breath.....You can try tea tree oil on the small patch to clear it up....HTH....Val
Guest guest
Years ago, most folks working outside, wore hats that protected the face and ears. Baseball caps are now the norm but they do not offer much protection to the ears and neck. It could be precancerous- actinic (solar) keratoses which is scaly and has a sandpaper surface. Squamous cell cancer usually appears in areas exposed to the sun. It can be nodular or flat and has a scaly, crusted surface. Basal cell cancer is the most common malignant skin tumor. It is pearly or waxy type bump that can be flat, flesh colored or brown. Melanoma is the most dangerous and generally brown to black, irregular border and sometimes dome shaped. Not knowing exactly what he has, you could get it diagnosed and decide which way to go. Precancerous lesions can be destroyed by freezing them with liquid nitrogen (by a dermatologist). I'm not familiar with natural remedies once the skin cancer has started but someone on the list may offer some input. Guest guest
I always say do a Total Body Cleanse with Blood Detox first and see what is left to handle. Cancer, as is true for other diseases as well, loves an acid environment. A diet change getting the body over to more alkaline along with the cleanse can do wonders. Then if there is more work to do, take additional steps.
