Guest guest
Hi All I will finally be able to start the TBC this Monday which I am doing mainly because of severe kidney pains, joint & bone pains (Especially in my spine and neck) from long term acidosis, and major " female organ " issues. Also, now more recently, because I have been battling severe depression. There have been many attributes to the depression, mainly just some serious upsets in my life lately that I'd hoped I could handle on my own. I won't get into detail, as we all know how it feels when life gets tough sometimes... but I haven't been dealing as well as I'd like to and I need some help. Anyway, my question to all my lovely friends here is just for any suggestions for meditation, soothing music, relaxation exercises, etc that might be good for spiritual and mental healing during this period of cleansing. I have researched some music and books, but have not yet decided on anything... just thought I would see what you all think, would love to hear some of your favorite methods of meditation or relaxation... Things that can be done with a 2nd person would be wonderful too, as my partner (though not doing the TBC with me) also has been hurting " beyond physical " and we are looking to be able to do some of these things, and heal together. Much Love to everyone, and my deepest gratitude for Herbal Remedies and all the friends I have made here Love & Blessings, ~Raaven
Guest guest
Hi Raaven - have you tried aromatherapy - some good ones for this purpose are Sandalwood, Helichysum, Lavender (one with high ester content), Angelica (increases blood flow to the brain), Myrrh and Frankincense - and Clary Sage. If you haven't experienced any of these, go to a local health food store where they let you sample the smell and find one, two or even three that you like and diffuse them or even just drop onto a tissue and sniff them. I use them for chronic insomnia as well. Herbal Remedies - Total Body Cleanse... Spiritual & Mental healing ideas?

Raaven ## _______________ Hi ER, you know me hon, just wanted to add my 2 cents here. Here is something almost anyone can do alone or with a partner. Candlelight, one candle works fine. Soft mellow music, moments of peace by Charles Suniga, Coming Home keyboard interpretations by Steve Hall, and most anything by Ernesto these are all wonderful to meditate too. Lots of soothing mellow music out there, but if you can't hear it first you will most likely (like me) buy things that you don't like. So I always research and ask and stick with artist that are awesome, or better yet go somewhere you can listen to the CD first. Sit quietly and get in touch with your self and breath deeply, really relax, you can close your eyes if you need to. Also it helps to stay as quiet as you can for a predetermined amount of time. That's what my husband and I do and it's marvelous and we really feel close to one another when we do this. I may even have told you about this already, if so forgive me for repeating myself. There are lots of other techniques but I've helped other people with this simple technique and they listen to the music I mentioned above, or something they really can escape into that is soft and easy to listen too. Piano music is wonderful too. Another thing is to go for walks in the evening when it is cool. Parks, beaches, or just around where you live. It all works, but when you can enjoy nature while you are walking it really helps to unwind and get into the miracles all around you. Notice the flowers, there are so many beautiful flowers, really get into them, the birds, the bees... you get the drift. This works for us, I hope it will work for you. Love and hugs. Guest guest
Thank you Ann I wrote down the names of the EO's you suggested, and will check them out I live in a city apartment right now, with my partner and a roomate so I have to be a bit more inventive in order to maintain good quality relaxation time. But the EO's simmering in the bedroom while I read a good book or listen to my " mood music " is a great idea! Thank you again Love & Blessings, ~Raaven herbal remedies , " Ann Wooledge " <annrn wrote: > > Hi Raaven - have you tried aromatherapy - some good ones for this purpose > are Sandalwood, Helichysum, Lavender (one with high ester content), Angelica > (increases blood flow to the brain), Myrrh and Frankincense - and Clary > Sage. Guest guest
Thanks Micki I like the idea of going for walks... in our area, we'll have to drive somewhere to walk first... we've tried just walking from the house before but never get very far, as we live off a pretty busy street and it actually makes us feel claustrophobic! Many cars and trucks, stinky exhaust and lots of cement and rude people in a hurry doesn't do anyone any good in the relaxation department! We live in an apartment complex where every 4 buildings are facing one another to form a square " courtyard like " atmosphere, and there is a pond in the middle of every one, which is what our patio doors face. As of this year, we have many ducks, mallards and even a few swans and herons and they now put in a fountain in the middle of each pond... the sound from the fountain's running water makes it hard to hear the city sounds, so it's really nice Especially at night when all the noisy neighbors are asleep! (lol) But for a really nice walk, we'll have to drive to the nearby park... fortunately it's only about a 5 minute drive Much Love & Blessings, ~Raaven PS... our full moon is coming up here in a day did you know you can also see Mars very well for the first time ever throughout the whole month? ) I'll try and find the email I got on the specifics for best days to see it... but on a clear night it's already visible! herbal remedies , " Micki " <micki_ wrote: > > ## Anyway, my question to all my lovely friends here is just for any suggestions for meditation, soothing music, relaxation exercises, etc. that might be good for spiritual and mental healing during this period of cleansing.
