bad but i dont want it to get worse... thanks Cindy i will take all

the suggestions i can get

Alpha-hydroxy acids speed up the normal process of skin cell

regeneration and sloughing. This increases the flexibility of the

skin and gives a smoother appearance. Exfoliation results in a

turnover of new cells in the outer layer of skin. Premature aged

skin due to UV exposure, can see good results using AHAs.

Alpha-hydroxy acids occur naturally in some foods such as citrus

fruits, apples, grapes, milk. Malic acid- apples; citric acid- most

all citrus fruits; glycolic acid- honey or sugar cane; lactic acid

from milk.

There are over the counter products available but most all contain

synthetic alpha-hydroxy acids.

AHAs are sometimes called chemical exfoliants or peels using enzymes

or mild acids such as the citus. Mechanical exfoliants use gentle

abrasive action with ingredients such as ground oatmeal or almonds,

poppy seeds, sugar, cornmeal, cooked rice or tapioca. You can mix

the " acids " with exfoliating material. Use them according to how

your skin responds. Some people will " peel " every other day, others

once a week.

Experiment using the flesh of fruit such as a mango- blending it in

a food processor. Add a tablespoon of honey with processor running

to mix well. If the mixture is runny, add some ground oats. Use

immediately.

You can make your own natural and fresh facial masks at home.

My suggestion is to grind your dry ingredients first (oatmeal,

almonds, etc) mix them in any combination you wish and store in a

container. When you are ready to make your mask, take a couple

tablespoons of your dry ingredients and add your liquid ingredients

such as fresh juice (apple, grape, pineapple, papaya)in a clean bowl

and mix to make a smooth paste. Massage over face in gentle,

circular motions. Rinse well and pat dry. Moisturize. I like

Jojoba oil. Use it alone or add it to your lotion. Jojoba oil is

natures wrinkle fighter.

Liquid ingredient suggestions:

Fresh juice

Honey

Rosewater

Green tea

Herbal infusions- similar to making tea, use about 3 TBL dry herb in

1 cup boiling water. Infuse 10-15 minutes, strain and cool.

(Chamomile, fennel seed, parsley, calendula, lavender)

Milk or cream

Aloe vera

Hydrosols

Distilled water

Yogurt

Let me know if you have any questions.
