Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I'm getting ready to fly to the Netherlands Saturday morning and beginning last night my anxiety level is through the roof! I'm drinking a calming tea with little resolve. I need a quick fix, something stronger! I'm so afraid of flying and this always happens when I'm about to. Not too long ago I would have just popped a Xanax or Valium but I don't take drugs anymore. My heart beats fast, skips beats almost like fluttering, my stomach gets tied all up in knots, bowel troubles, nausea......ugh. Please, does anyone know of something I can do to calm mysef for this plane ride? I'm almost disabled by the anxiety right now and I have so much to do! Thank you so much! Guest guest
In addition to Valerian.....Skullcap, Hops, Kava Kava, Lemon Balm, Passionflower, St Johns wort...some of the main herbs (plus many more...) for anxiety...just becareful not to combine to many (or take too much) or else it might just mellow you out a lot more than you wish...lol...I always use some sort of combination of the above for my 'bedtime' tea.. If you remove the causes, it may help control the anxiety. Guest guest
I have the same kind of problem as you do. Every time I am ready for a trip, my blood pressure rise and some time I feel a stroke or attach is coming. My muscle just tensed and stress level go up. What I did to over come the problem is every time it is coming (mostly when the plane is turbulance ) I just close my eyes, take a deep breath, hold it as long as you can and exhale slowly. I hope this help. - Marilyn Baxter <firstmatehill Thursday, August 3, 2006 5:50 pm Herbal Remedies - Re: I'm sooo Anxious! > herbal remedies , "Tori" <vcotten wrote: > > > > Hi Everyone, > > I'm getting ready to fly to the Netherlands Saturday morning and > > beginning last night my anxiety level is through the roof!
