Guest guest
Bioponic in contract with Florida clinic Pacific Business News (Honolulu) - 10:04 AM HAST Friday http://pacific.bizjournals.com/pacific/stories/2006/07/24/daily56.html Bioponic Phytoceuticals Inc. has signed an agreement with a Florida child neurosurgery center to research treatment using Tumeric root. The Pediatric Neurosurgery and Childhood Hydrocephalus Center and its principal Dr. Jogi Pattisapu work in Orlando, Fla., in alliance with the 21-location Florida Hospital system, which treats more inpatients than any other hospital system in the country. Pattisapu has struck a deal with Maui-based Bioponic (PK: BPYT) to research treatment for childhood hydrocephalus -- once familiarly known as water on the brain -- using the company's Curecumin product, a formula of curcumin, the active ingredient found in tumeric root. The publication Science published an article on curcumin as a treatment for cystic fibrosis and it has also been researched as a cancer suppressant. Want to be your own boss?
