A friend of mine would like to know if there is anything that can be

done for some labor/delivery problems. These would be:

1.Preterm Labor

2.Incompetent cervix (where it is stitched shut)

3.Gestational Diabetes

4.Hemorrage at delivery

Thanks so much for your imput, as I am not as experienced as some of

the rest of you.

TIA

With regard to the preterm labor...is it early contractions? I know that liquid calcium-magnesium is good for putting a stop to cntx before they're necessary. In order to avoid hemorrhage at delivery, she needs to have good iron levels for her blood to clot well. Is she working with a midwife, or going unassisted? Either way, if she could get her hemoglobin level checked for this, it would be good. It's simple finger prick and most midwives can do it at home.BrandiA friend of mine would like to know if there is anything that can be done for some labor/delivery problems.
