My dh is a computer consultant currently working for WebMD of all

places. He actually asked me if I minded him working there, which I

don't since he just works in billing insurance companies. I think I

might have a problem if he actually had to post the garbage on the

web. Anyway, he was having a conversation with another consultant who

had spent some time working for a big pharmaciutical company and had

written the software to track the success of the drugs. To his shock

the criteria on which the relative success of the drugs are based have

nothing whatsoever to do with how they help, rate of cure etc. The

criterion is merely " How long does a person take this? " The longer

they can keep people on it, the better the drug is, by their own

standards!

Just for anyone who might still believe even a little in Big Pharma,

this one is straight from the horses mouth.

This may have already been mentioned, but from what I've learned, a drug can't BE a "drug" unless it HAS HARMFUL EFFECTS! Which is why some of the Big Pharma's have tried to patent natural products and can't. So they take the chemical constituent and try to synthesize it into something artificial with the same molecular makeup but is no longer natural and, therefore, the body is going to reject it in some way. This in my humble opinion is the basic reason any pharmaceuticals are going to be BAD at some point in time and you may not ever know where it is actually affecting you. I see all the time where we have to give medications to countereffect other medicines we've been giving. For example -with antibiotics - oh my goodness! It starts with rashes, diarrheas and nausea and can go further. It is SO frustrating to me to know that I could cure some of the wounds I see with just herbs and/or essential oils very quickly with no side effects, but no one would even begin to let me try in our hospitals.

Wow! Amazing, but why should I be surprised???

Afterall, we know that they are simply money motivated rather than moved by "HELP".

That's something.
