Guest guest
Last Sunday I fell down the basement steps, I sprain my right ankle, broke my left ankle, messed up my left big toe. Lots of bruises, lot of pain. Well, my dd finally got me to go to the hospital er on monday night. They are wanting me to see a bone doctor for the break. I don't want to do this, cause they will want to do surgery. Help me doc, can it heal on its own, with the help of herbs or am I going to have to have the surgery. Tell me what to do. Tell me what to take. Oh, I had a secret in my big toe. They xrayed it(yes, now I gotta cleanse again), I have growing out of my toe, the bones of another toe. Isn't that cool!!!! Or maybe not. love ya, Pam
Guest guest
Dear Pam, First! Take a deep breath and let it out slowly. ;-) OK! If the ankle really is broken, have the Medico set it (this is what they are good for). You want this in a cast so it can't move. You need to stay off of this ankle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they really want to operate, get the full particulars as to why????? Most broken bones just need to be set. Is there a chip that needs to come out????? This is one exception and may need to be done. Again the medico is the authority here, but get him to explain in great detail. If there is no chip and they just want to operate to make it easier to move things around, tell them to get stuffed. When a bone breaks the area tends to swell dramatically, and this is the body's attempt to realign the bones itself. It may hurt like hell, but a good "straight" yank while the swelling is happening will usually align the bones into their proper position. You then need a cast of sorts to keep the area immobile, and then you need to keep off of it. As I said, this is the one area where the Medicos have their use. Unless it's a bone chip, you can just tell the medico that you'll have no operation other than setting the bone. This is what I'd do.
