Guest guest
Hi everyone! MY name is Nett (yes that is my real name, not a nickname) and I live in NY state. I am currenly in my last year of my BS (I'm on the 10-year plan, feels like i have been going to school forever!), which is partially in Alternative Health. When I finish next year, I will go on to a MS/PhD program in Natural Health. I have been interested in natual healing for a few years, specifically in herbs. I am just finishing building a new house on a peaceful lake. I have two large areas dug up for garends, one for vegetables and the other for herbs. Currently, I have dill, thyme, comfrey, echinacea, lemon balm, lavender, and sage in little seedling containers waiting to go into the ground! I am in zone 5; can you recommend some other herbs to fill my garden in this zone? My second question is about poison ivy. I would like to treat it natually (of course!) and was wondering what you think about using a comfrey salve on it. It includes olive oil, comfrey, calendula, lavender, bees wax, and goldenseal. Thanks! Looking forward to absorbing and sharing much more wonderful information with you! Nett
