I keep getting it and keep treating it but it always comes back. I'm sure I need to do some serious cleansing. I use tea tree oil to kill it and it seems to have worked pretty good this time. I haven't seen it on my back anymore so I'm hoping this is it. The smell isn't great but it really helps! Good luck! Tori

I am also in Texas and this current heat wave of 105+ could be the problem. It sounds like a prickly heat rash. I work outside for most of the day and use a powder that I make. It works great. Don't use talc! You can make it yourself: Equal parts: arrowroot powder or rice starch (I prefer arrowroot) cornstarch A little baking soda is ok, too Mix (shake) it in a clean jar and use unscented OR add essential oils. I found the best way to add " liquid " to powder is to apply the eo's to a tissue first and then place the scented tissue inside the jar on top of the powder. Let set for a few days. Remove tissue, shake and use as body/dusting powder. Cheese shakers work great for powders. Glass is best especially if using eo's. The arrowroot is super silky and worth the effort to find. It's a starch from the root of the plant and used as a thickener. Essential oil suggestions: any combination or alone Lavender Orange Tea Tree Hope this helps Cindy
Guest guest
If it is a fungus it should respond to neem oil. Also try to keep that area dry and exposed to the air if possible.LittleGoldWoman <stacy1967 wrote: Ok what do you have for a fugusey type rash. Im thinking its fungusey cause it keeps coming back. Neem oil smells awful, at least to me. I use it for fly control in the barn and on my horses. If you are brave enough to use it, I bought some from a fellow in Florida awhile ago. Guest guest
Neem oil comes from the neem plant native to India. You can find it in Indian grocery stores (usually in bigger cities). If you do not live near a metropolis, you can find it on the net. Just : neem oil Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free.
