Guest guest
Does anyone have any idea what would cause the esophagus to relax at night or how it could be strengthened? Is there an exercise or herb that would have any effect? (I know that red raspberry taken internally works for the uterus... what would work for the esophagus?) Thanks, Monica Grubb
Guest guest
Monica, According to "Prescription for Nutritional Healing " by Phyllis A. Balch, CNC page 474 states, ASide from disrupting normal sleep and causing extreme sleepiness during the day, sleep apnea is associated with other, more serious health problems. People who have sleep apnea tend to have higher than normal blood pressure and more likely to have strokes than the general population, and they also face an increased risk of heart disease, although the reason or reasons for these links are not known. People with sleep apnea also seem to have a higher-than-normal incidence of emotional and psychotic disorders. page476 Mild cases of obstructional sleep apnea can sometimes be treated with lifestyle and diet changes. my mother also has this problem and she is in the process of lowering the high blood pressure to see if it helps her apnea... HOpe this helps some, blessings, Marlene
