Guest guest
My husband has been wearing perscription glasses now for about 10 years....he would like to eliminate them....what do some of you think about Lasik surgery? I know nothing about it other than the medico advertizements in favor of it. Would he be able to strengthen or improve his eyesight naturally? Thank you in advance..... Val. Guest guest
I, too, am interested in getting rid of my eye-glasses. Has anyone heard this CD (Eye See, by Dr. Lorraine Day): http://www.drday.com/index.html#see I've been thinking about getting it but hate to waste my money. She is right on about the cancer treatments, though. Val - I've not had Laser Eye Surgery, but have read that it is not permanent and will need to be repeated in a few years or you'll have to go back to glasses... For me, messing with my eyes like that is not an option even once! My Dad was in an accident and was blinded when I was young. Eyes are too precious to chance it... Guest guest
I have a very good friend who had this procedure done about a year ago, and I've got my eye on him, as he's agreed to be my guinea pig on this. So far so good, and his eye sight is still holding up. I'll consider the experiment done after 3 years has gone by. It is invasive, and as such turns me off. Doesn't quite feel right. I've had people using the EyeBright Formula in the Files to correct their vision (takes a few months of constant attention, plus eating correctly while doing some cleansing, which many don't have the patience for), but it can be done. Too often in this day and age, people opt for the quick fix regardless of expense, and I do understand that this Lasik is very pricey. Anywho, I don't have enough information to be emphatic about it at this stage of the game. Guest guest
I have only listened to part of Dr. Lorraine Day's Eye See program. In what I have listened to so far, she is teaching that the cause of all eye diseases is a diet that ignores God's health rules. She is a Seventh-Day Adventist and advocates a biblical vegan diet. She discusses laser surgery and does not recommend it. ~Marianne
Guest guest
I had lasik myself about 5 years ago. Immediately after, my vision was 20/15 and had been up until about a year ago when I noticed a little blurr here and there. I went to the eye doctor and he prescribed me glasses but said my vision was not bad at all-something like 25/25...he said a normal person with that vision would not even notice but because mine was so good to start with I noticed. I have some blurry moments here and there-maybe once every week or two for a few minutes--nothing bad enough to put the glasses on unless maybe i'm driving at the time. Other than that I have had no problems. I figured at the time if it could buy me even a few years with no glasses it was worth it--of course that was way before I even knew about natural/herbal cures or anything. Any question or information I would be more than happy to share my experience with you... Guest guest
Hello All, My husband had Lasik almost five years ago and his vision is still the same as it was after the surgery. I asked if he'd do it again and his response was "in a heartbeat". This is the same guy who refuses to go to the dr. and instead will ask me for something out of my herb cabinet. I'm in complete agreement with Doc. We're always looking for a quick fix as opposed to having to do something for the long haul to make a change that works in harmony with your body, but ... Guest guest
Try the See Clearly Method, you usually can find a cheap copy of one, tapes or CD's on Ebay. I paid full price and did the exercises religiously and went from thick glasses with bifocals to no glasses.
Guest guest
For the two responses on natural means: Does Lorraine Day talk about eye exercises and how to do them or just God's Health laws. I agree with the health laws, but I'm looking for practical application - thanks! Thanks for the info on the See Clearly method. I couldn't think of the name for it for my original post. I'll be looking for it... How long did it take you to get rid of the glasses? Did you have to buy other prescriptions while your eyes improved? Thanks to you both....Vicki herbal remedies , Terry Friel <terryf1500 wrote: > > Try the See Clearly Method, you usually can find a > cheap copy of one, tapes or CD's on Ebay. > > I paid full price and did the exercises religiously > and went from thick glasses with bifocals to no > glasses. >
