Guest guest
Dear Anthea, My Lemon Egg Recipe is a "knock out" if you'll pardon the pun. ;-) This is a Formula you whup up in your own kitchen. I have to ensure I'm heading to bed right after I take two tablespoons of the stuff or I end up falling asleep in the chair. LOL I'll post the formula directly after this return note. Guest guest
Maybe that's why my son has been sleeping so well the last few nights...I made it and discovered that if I use a non see through cup I can put a tablespoon or two in his evening water...I guess that also gets him his calcium and helps him sleep!!!! YES-added bonus! Guest guest
I am curious as to how the lemon egg formula makes one fall asleep faster and sleep better? Lately my 8 yo son has been hving sleep problems. It started a few weeks ago with a bad dream and now he literally obsesses about having another one so he is afraid to go to sleep and if he wakes at night(always does) he comes to my room crying. I comfort him and have explained that he should not focus on bad things but think happy thoughts but it's like talking to a wall. I have been unsure as to what to do. I tried a calming tea but that didn't really help. A friend suggested liquid melatonin but that didn't help either, if anything it made things worse. I was thinking of trying rescue remedy or the new rescue remedy sleep. I may try the lemon egg since he doesn't eat dairy and I'm never sure he is getting enough calcium. Any advice for this problem would be greatly appreciated. I don't seem to be able to talk him out of the scary thoughts which is the cause of the problem I'm sure. Thanks, Tori
Guest guest
### Have you ever bought just the right chiropractic pillow, or bed board, or super soft goose down comforter that solved all your sleep problems from then on out? If so, I would like to hear from you, on what was the product, or what was your successful action? (This is not for me). Please let me know, Thx, best Anthea ### ______________________ Hello Anthea, my husband and I decided to bite the bullet and purchase a Tempurpedic memory foam Bed 3 years ago and we cannot believe the difference. We purchased our memory foam pillows by a different manufacturer we weren't completely sold on the Tempurpedic pillows as they are very expensive and you can get good memory foam pillows at your local department store for a fraction of the cost. This bed is heavenly. We cannot believe how comfortable it is. The biggest plus is this mattress cushions your weight evenly and when one person moves or gets up it doesn't wake the other person because the distribution of weight is so even and movement is absorbed. The sleep quality along with the health benefits of this mattress are amazing. It comes with a water-resistant terry cover that zips off but I still prefer a mattress pad to keep it as new and nice as possible. Lots of good features to numerous to list here. Good investment. Love and light. Micki ________________________

Guest guest
My 7 yo son is the same way...wakes up nearly every single night crying about a bad dream...every so often he will tell me that he doesn't want to go to sleep because of those dreams. I'm not positive, but last sat, sun, and mon I put the lemon egg in his evening water...didn't wake up once. Last night we weren't home so he didn't get the lemon egg and he woke up crying. I am going to keep trying and see if it's that simple so we'll see. Even if it helps some night that is a bonus. I think it has the same effect as " drinking a warm glass of milk before bed " . The calcium relaxes your nerves or something in your body I believe. Not exactly sure as maybe Doc will chime in. Guest guest
Dear Tori, Having enough Calcium in your body is essential for having a good nights rest. Calcium and Magnesium are the calming minerals, and their use can completely annihilate the symtoms of the bogus Psych disorders of ADD or ADHD. The Lemon Egg Formula is rich in both Cal & Mag. I've had many clients tell me that when they take it at night time they have to ensure they're immediately ready for bed or they'll fall asleep in a chair or on the pot :-) I've done this myself. LOL Easy to make, and soooooo beneficial. Guest guest
Thanks Doc for the 411 on the lemon egg. One or two quick questions, how much should I give him? He's a pretty big kid for 8, 4'10 about 90#. Also, does it have to be prepared in a glass jar or can it be plastic and how long will it last in the fridge? I am ever so grateful for your help! Guest guest
Wow Marci, thanks, that sounds promising! I'm certainly going to be preparing this over the weekend so my son(and I) can get some much needed peaceful uninterrupted sleep! Perhaps this waking up at night thing is common among children our kids age - a growing pain type thing - I've talked to many other parents of kids, mostly boys, aged 7- 9 and it seems to be a common thing. I guess we need to be patient and keep the lemon egg handy! Thanks again! Tori
Guest guest
Tori You are more than welcome. This tea does taste bad and you have to acquire a taste for it. I put the used tea outside as it stinks up the house....... Guest guest
Use the 150 Rule in the Files. IE. Put his weight of 90 over 150. This fraction reduces down to 9 over 15 which reduces down to 3/5 ths of an adult dosage. There are 6 teaspoons in 2 tablespoons (the adult dose) so he'd get approximately 3.5 teaspoons a day. Being as this is herbal and not rocket science, and that this formula is very mild, you could give him 4 teaspoons or even an adult dose and it would only do him good. ;-) We've never kept it around that long so I'm not sure as to its shelf life, but the longest I ever kept a batch around before finishing it off was two weeks and it was still going strong and tasted good. Guest guest
Also note... many cats are fascinated by the scent of valarian, and won't leave it alone. Mine got into my cupboards and pulled it out and left it all over the floor to roll in the last time I had any! One of the big tea makers makes a sleep tea " extra " with valarian. Its not bad tasting, but I don't know how much valarian is in it either. I think it's available in an organic type too, but I took the list of ingredients off a friends box and tried mixing my own. Came out ok--and my DH will drink it, but won't drink straight valarian. Try mixing the valarian with mint and chamomile to temper the flavor some. They too are mild sleep herbs, so you won't counter the valarian any. --Rakira
Guest guest
I have found that Ginger Root goes great with Valerian. It actually tastes good and will help you sleep like a rock with no lag or side effects in the morning. Clay. Groups are talking. We’re listening. Check out the handy changes to . Guest guest
Oh, my! I'm salivating just thinking about this one. Ginger tea is one of my favorite teas - Actually it's second to lavender. I think I'll try this tonight, since lavender and valarian don't quite mix. Thanks!
