Guest guest
Hi Skeeter, Try some "Multimineral capsules" with some pineapple juice before bed. (The vitamin C in the juice will help with absorption and also has some extra potassium). My symptoms disappeared within days of starting taking the multiminerals and I found out mine were indications of minerals deficiency. I had them for years and it could be very scary until my friend (who is knowledgeable in herbs and natural medicine) made that recommendation. Hope this will help. skeetersbunch3 <corrinakilfoy wrote: I have had restless leg syndrome ever since i can rememberi have been told that this is impossible cause it only afflicts older adults (i am 28 now)but if its not restless leg syndrome then what is it?i get a feeling in my bones and muscles that only goes away when there is pressure put on it. so usually sleep with my legs tucked inbetween the wall and the bed and even then i am still wanting to twitch?any recomended herbs for this particular ailment.thanksskeeter Sneak preview the all-new .com. I never did get any sort of diagnosis but started taking quinine tablets and not only did the pain go away but I slept like a baby. I did outgrow this, I think it had something to do with my high metabolism. I went all day at break neck speed. When I would lie down to sleep my legs just would not relax. Also, hot baths with about 3/4 cup of sea salt or Epson salt will also help. Soak at least 30 minutes, longer if you can. When you said you felt it in your bones and muscles I related to it immediately. Try these two things and see if it doesn't help you. Hope this helps. Love and light. Guest guest
I drink one cup of coffee in the morning and the rest of the day its water. i dont take any meds for anything. i dont seem to have any other health issues (or none that i am aware of or my doctor) to describe the sensation it feels like someone is taking a dull knitting needle and shoving it down along the inside of my bones. and the only way to get rid of it is by constantly moving or applying pressure. i am fairly active as i have 3 kids under the age of 6 . any other info you want let me know? this is something i have dealt with for years even when i wasnt drinking coffee cause i was pregnant. sooo hmmmmmm
Guest guest
I have had this for years and found that if i put a bar of soap under my sheet near my feet, it makes my restless leg syndrome go away and i can sleep all night. Not a herbal cure but it does work and keeps me from one more evil med. lol Greg - skeetersbunch3 herbal remedies Sunday, July 09, 2006 2:22 PM Herbal Remedies - restless leg syndrome? Guest guest
I have had this for over 30 years and was just diagnosed a couple of weeks ago as having a Bakers cyst, which is a cyst on the back of the knee. Not sure if this is the cause of my restless legs, but my son also has the same problem. I have to lay in bed on my stomach to get my legs to stop hurting. I would love to find the root cause and what to take to treat it. Marie - " skeetersbunch3 " <corrinakilfoy <herbal remedies > Sunday, July 09, 2006 5:22 PM Herbal Remedies - restless leg syndrome? Guest guest
Hi, I take these all the time,But I take a little more when the problem arises. I take zinc, potassium, Magnesium and calcium when ever I get restless legs or muscle cramps. It takes a little while however for these minerals to start working in your body. for a quick fix, just take a pain pill, like asprin or excedrin until the minerals start to work. It works for me, Joan --- ejohns9525 wrote: In a message dated 7/11/2006 9:55:39 A.M. Central Standard Time, rhonilee writes: OH My!! I have that too! I am currently looking for something to help! Guest guest
Here's a few suggestions in their order of importance and strength of effectivness. 1. Start taking Hot and Cold Showers when you get up in the morning and when you go to bed. Do at least 3 hots and 3 colds. More is better. 30 seconds of each. End with a nice HOT shower. 2. Knock off ALL caffeine. Not even one cup a day is permitted with this condition. 3. Make and drink the Cal-Calm Tea in the Files as a regular drink throughout the day. 4. Make and take 2 tablespoons of the Lemon Egg Recipe (in the files) which was just posted yesterday. 5. Take two dropperfuls 3 times a day of the Nerve Sedative Formula (recipe in the Files). You want to start with number 1. add #2. add #3 as needed until you reach the desired effect. Guest guest
The Coffee has to go altogether. You may wish to add the Nerve Sedative Formula to your daily regimen if you've tried all the other things I've suggested in a previous e-mail. One last thing to add is EXERCISE!!! Sometimes exercise by itself can stop this phenomenon from occurring. Guest guest
Hi, I always read that it is a lack of magnesium. It’s worth trying as our soils are SO deficient of almost all minerals that we are all chronically depleted whether in the US or Australia ! I know when I’m really low as my legs feel weird and I have trouble sleeping. I take Cellfood and find that supplies pretty much all the minerals I lack. I just did a search, and found this site http://www.allcalm.com/restlesslegs.html Main ingredient is Magnesium Sulphate. leesanozzie

Guest guest
I do not use cellfood myself because I use doc's formulas but I buy it for my son. He takes his dose every day--it's very kid friendly because it just has a slight lemony taste and it's a very easy way to get the things you need. It is a mixture of disolved oxygen, trace minerals, plant source amino acids and enzymes. You can buy it at many health food/organic stores but you can also buy online at places like vitacost.com.
