Guest guest
It is bright and beautiful outside and I love summer but all I want to do is sleep. I feel fatigued and slmpy and uninspired. I have tried to battle this feeling of being overwelmed and wanting to change EVERYTHING about my life. I have come to the conclusion that I am depressed. Any advice? Guest guest
Elle, In the past, I've struggled with the way you feel. If you are getting 8 hours of sleep stay out of bed. Make yourself exercise. I'm sure you won't want to, but go somewhere beautiful and peaceful and exercise outside. Deep breathes of fresh air. Make yourself sweat. It will become more enjoyable every day. Stop caffeine if you use it. Stop depressing TV shows & read something positive - I use scripture. I wasn't aware of herbs when I had my problems, maybe someone else can help along that line, but your body needs sunshine, fresh air and exercise to kick depression, along with a positive outlook on life. Guest guest
A good book I have found help with is the old book The Power of Positive Thinking, by Norman Vincent Peall. The company my copy is printed through is Prentice Hall. This describes how to condition your thought process to think positively and get positive results. It centers around prayer and scripture reading (Judeo- Christian) and thought conditioning. You might want to give it a try along with the exercise, sunshine etc. HTH --Jamie How low will we go?
