Guest guest
OK-I'm trying to make the lemon egg... I put the organic eggs (brown- does it matter) in the jar and fresh squeezed lemon juice over it. It's been in the fridge about 26 hours and it looks disgusting!!! The whole lemon juice has about 1/2 inch of white residue (maybe the while from the egg inside) along the whole bottom and the brown eggs are basically bleached and the brown from the eggs is in the liquid also. I am thinking this cannot be right!!!! Is it? Please tell me no...recipe says when the eggs are done bubbling well I cannot even see the eggs down in that mess...what is going on with this???? Guest guest
Sounds like a perfect batch to me. ;-) Disgusting looking??? Yeah! You did it right ROTFLMAO Just make sure when you take the eggs out after 44 to 48 hours that you use a dull wooden spoon or an even duller stainless steel one (wooden is best) so that you don't break the membranes. Save the eggs in a bowel in the fridge (they're still edible) and you have your lemon egg recipe left in the liquid. Gonna make a wild herbalist outa ya yet. ;-) In Health, Freedom, and Love, Doc Doc Shillington727-447-5282Doc - Marci herbal remedies Monday, July 03, 2006 8:22 PM Herbal Remedies - Bad Lemon Egg OK-I'm trying to make the lemon egg... Guest guest
I had no idea it was supposed to look like that-my brain didn't go there when reading the recipe..LOL...I just took it out and got the eggs out and one of the eggs the shell is cracked...the egg is still in tact but the shell is cracked and very soft...is it still ok? I did take a taste--surprisingly it smells very lemony but doesn't really have a taste... Guest guest
When making the lemon egg, how many eggs, to how much lemon juice. For instance if I'm going to add lemon juice to cover, can I use 3 or 4 eggs? Or do I need to go for a whole dozen. As much as the jar will hold? Will the shells break easier after soaking in the lemon juice? How long will this stuff keep in the fridge after the eggs are removed?Tammi U."Dr. Ian Shillington" <DocShillington wrote: Sounds like a perfect batch to me. ;-) Disgusting looking??? Guest guest
Dear Tammi, Not rocket science here. Use a quart Mason (canning) jar and fill 3/4 ers of the way up with eggs (show me two eggs that are exactly the same size ;-), and these must be raw and Organic. Cover the eggs up to the shoulder of the jar with freshly squeezed Lemon Juice from Organic Lemons. Put in Fridge and remember to not tighten the lid or you might get an explosion as the gases expand and have one helluva mess in your Fridge. Leave in the Fridge for at least 44 hours up to but no longer than 48 hours. Take out and use a very dull stainless steel spoon or better yet a wooden spoon to remove the eggs themselves. What's left over is your Lemon Egg Recipe. It is second to none as a Calcium source. And this is an Organic Calcium Source which is fully assimilable by the body. Used with DMSO, it will actually rebuild bone matrix. Guest guest
Not to assimilate it. No. However, these minerals work in Salt Pairs and the primary mineral Calcium pairs with is Magnesium (pairs with others of course). If there is little Magnesium in the body, the Calcium doesn't work as well. Similarly Sodium pairs with Potassium and works best with that mineral. Love, Doc PS. By the way, the Lemon Egg formula HAS Magnesium and Silicon in it. It's just that the primary Mineral is Calcium and what it is known for. ;-) Doc Shillington727-447-5282Doc - tmrwmr herbal remedies Sunday, July 09, 2006 10:36 PM Re: Herbal Remedies - Bad Lemon Egg Dear Doc, What about magnesium?
