Guest guest
Possibly someone can give me some insight to how to handle this problem. For about 2 months, the nail on my left pointer finger has been white and the half moon is gone. Since it also hurts a bit, I have been using tea tree oil on it twice a day for over a month, and while the pain does go away, it eventually comes back after a couple of days of forgetting to use the tea tree oil. When my hand is in water for any length of time, such as washing the dog, or when I use that fingertip, it especially hurts and throbs a bit. Any ideas anyone? All I could really find on the internet is that the nail bed/half moon has something to do with blood circulation and a white fingernail could be a sign of a nail fungus. I didn't think nail fungus hurt though. Thanks for any advice or ideas. Marie
