Guest guest
I've read the information in the files concerning DMSO, and thank you. My question is, since this is so potent, would it be harmful for me to use on my eyelid, where I have a couple of those pesky skin tags? Is there a risk to the eye itself? Guest guest
You won't harm the eye at all by using it on the lid. As a matter of fact, I use DMSO in my Eye Bright Formula (similar to Dr. Christopher's but 100X as a result of the DMSO) Just remember, that whatever you mix with DMSO, will go into the body with it when it penetrates the cells. Best is to clean your hands very thoroughly using an all natural soap before touching DMSO. You also want to ensure you rinse the soap off with distilled water before use as well. Using DMSO right after you changed the oil on your car would be a bad idea ;-) That petrolleum would go directly through the cells into your system. You want to mix DMSO with the highest quality organic herbal products only. Not that I'm trying to scare anyone here. You know how I feel about people using scare tactics when it comes to healing, it's just that you really need to pay attention to detail when playing with this one. Guest guest
Positively! Absolutely! Unequivocally!!! Please realize that DMSO is the universal solvent when it comes to physiology and cellular structure. It will permeate any cell wall, including Bone cells and the cell wall of the eye which is designed to hold moisture and liquid in. The Feed Store Stuff is Junk. The Healthfood Store Stuff is Junk. You want to use USP Pharmaceutical Grade DMSO ONLY!!!! If you think the Healthfood store DMSO is expensive, wait 'til you buy the USP grade. It is very pricey, but also very well worth it!!! It is also a scarce as hen's teeth. I had to take it off my website and stop selling it directly to clients or my supplier wouldn't be allowed to sell it to me anymore. This is being clamped down on by the FDA, and my manufacturer has been hit. They don't mind the Feed Store or the Healthfood Store Stuff being sold because they know it is stored in plastic. Welllllllll holy moley, but DMSO will eventually leech through plastic including the #1 plastic. No wonder they allow this cheap crap to be sold because it'll just help to keep you sick. Whatever you mix DMSO with, will go along through your system. Not only will the DMSO go into your system, it'll take whatever you mix with it (good or bad). The Healthfood Store / Feed Store variety is Crap. Do not use this. Get and use only USP Pharmaceutical Grade ONLY!!! This is stored in Brown Glass Bottles with Teflon tops. This is one herbal preparation you want to pay attention to and have your wits about you when using, and is one of the exceptions when I normally tell people they can't hurt themeselves with herbs. Don't be scared of it. Just respect it. You just gotta use your noggin with DMSO. Guest guest
Hi Doc, I was happy to see your response. I baited you a bit on this since I was pretty sure your response would hold a lot of info folks didnt know regarding DMSO. Sometimes your the "Fountain of truth":-) During the Vietnam war one of the easiest ways a enemy could be covertly dispached without drawing suspection was to blend DMSO with a quick and deadly poison and then merely to blow or squirt it onto the skin of the victim. This is just how powerful DMSO is at carrying anything into the body and post haste at that! Anyone who has never used it is surprised to taste it in their mouths within seconds of applying it to a lower extremity! I was pretty sure that DMSO in plastic bottles was not a good thing and you only confirmed it! Much appreciated! Don"Dr. Ian Shillington" <DocShillington wrote: Positively! Absolutely! Guest guest
Try the following: Aldrich chemical (google it). They will definitely have DMSO but you have to specify the grade. Pure grads would be USP pharmaceutical or HPLC grade. DO NOT BUY 99%, because that is actually 1 percent contaminants 9which could be harmful). How low will we go? Guest guest
Teflon for the most part is inert = does not react with other chemicals which makes it an ideal stopper on a glass bottle. Glass is also very inert whereas plastic is not. None of the plastics are. Guest guest
It says the HPLC is only available in Japan. There's too many other 'grades' on that site... WAY too many options. I'm not a chemist (nor do I play one on T.V.- old joke... sorry) and - just between you and me - I BARELY passed Chem in college. So, again - NO idea where to get pharmaceutical grade DMSO. BUT! I agree with not getting 99% I was thinking .> 99.7% would be 'maybe'... 'sorta'... 'kinda' OK at best! Thank you though. - Saratony vergilatis <greekamerican1961 wrote: Try the following: Aldrich chemical (google it). They will definitely have DMSO but you have to specify the grade. Guest guest
There we go. This is the good stuff if the company is ethical and delivers what it says. Please check it out for everyone Joe. Is it easy to order??? etc. etc. Can the public order it??? $106 is not a bad price for a half litre of USP Pharmaceutical Grade. I'd appreciate any more data you can find on this.
