I am getting ready to partake in Docs total body cleanse and am

actually really looking forward to it. If anyone on here has done this

before, can you tell me if I should expect anything? I know the detox

symptoms are supposed to be very minimal but wondered if anyone

experienced anything that I should know about before I begin...also

any tips just from your own personal experience???? I want to be as

prepared as possible. I tend to get questionable reactions from

everything so just wanted a heads up if possible. Thanks you all.

I forgot---has anyone that has hypoglycemia ever done this? How does

it affect your blood sugar meaning does it regulate it enough so that

you don't have sugar attacks (meaning on the week of the fast)...Also

while on the vegan diet what can you eat for protein for sugar

regulation???

There is a soybean product called tempeh which is high in protein, just sautee it in soy sauce and it is really quite good.Marci <twilli55 wrote: I forgot---has anyone that has hypoglycemia ever done this? I will if need be but this day and age I try to stay away from the

soybean--which actually leaves very little left but I try...Thanks

though I will keep this in mind if need be.

On the same note of soy, although it's not the best these days, is it

ok to drink like a miso soup while on the cleanse???

Best is to stay away from Soy altogether until this industry cleans up its act.

I never eat soy any more in any form, as it's just too risky.

Not only that, they don't prepare it correctly. Soy like any other seed, bean, nut or seed, should be sprouted / germinated before preparing it or cooking it. These things are Acid Ash and don't turn alkaline until the germination process has been completed.

Stay away from Soy. Nowadays the entire Soy market is controlled by Monsanto, and we all know what nice fellows these boy are. :)

I would like to apologize for my ignorance here, but I had been told that soy (if it says non-GMO) was ok??

I like to buy the frozen edamame....and you say that soy should be sprouted/germinated before preparation? I do not see sunflower seeds sprouting before preparation (even at the organic mart here)....I am thoroughly confused...I do not normally do the soy milk or tofu, and rarely miso soup....mostly edamame....

Do you have a link or additional info that can give me the basic run down on what is going on with this particular topic? I had read so much good stuff about soy adn I have been careful to ensure that the soy I eat stated 'non-gmo'...

Again, sorry if I sound ignorant, but it seems that I am on this particular subject, and I would like to rectify this...

Thank you,

Georgia

Dear Georgia,

No need to apologize for being ignorant as long as you're doing something to rectify the condition. :-)

Actually, Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, etc are all better if you sprout (germinate) them first. You're thinking along the right line by watching out for the non-GMO label, but this is virtually useless when it comes to Soy since they plant GMO crops right along side of Organic Crops nowadays. Cross pollination is actally impossible to stop in this day and age. Over 90% of all Soy crops produced in the USA today are now GMO.

You need to rent the Video "The Future of Food", and this will give you all the documentation you need on the subject. I highly recommend this video to everyone on Herbal Remedies as this situation is beyond serious. We are heading for some disastrous times ahead if we do not turn this around. Actually disaster is kind of a mild term in this case. Let's use the word catastrophic instead.

Hope this helps.

In Health, Freedom, and Love,

Doc

PS. If you can't find the video, call my office and order one ($25) at the number below. I have a line in with the Producer and usually have a few copies lying around. It is the best documented film on modern day food and what is happening to it in the USA today.

Hey Doc, I have a better one for you! All these genetic altered foods are having some new type issues: It appears that the genetic engineers etc who did all these modifications assumed that one gene has one effect in an organism: SURPRISE; Not so! By just altering one gene, it is being found out that many things are being altered."Dr. Ian Shillington" <DocShillington wrote: Dear Georgia, No need to apologize for being ignorant as long as you're doing something to rectify the condition. :-) Actually, Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, etc are all better if you sprout (germinate) them first. It is an eye opener for sure.

When you consider that many of our very own Senators and Congressmen are the same dudes on the Board of Directors of Monsanto, it gives one a somewhat insecure feeling to say the least.
