Guest guest
Very simple. Have her carry around a thumb size piece of Ginger to suck on when this happens. The nausea will disappear almost instantly. Guest guest
Doc told you about ginger, which is all I have needed to use this pregnancy (though I use candied ginger) However, my sister had much worse morning sickness with her children-- so much so that she spent years psyching herself up for a pregnancy. With her last child I made her a pregnancy belly rub. It took about 2 days to kick in, during which time she threw up once. After that her morning sickness was gone as long as she used it. In the second trimester she was able to discontinue use. You put it on daily or twice daily. It takes a few days to reach full effectiveness, but then it pretty much relieves all nausea. (Wish I had it for my first child!) 1 tub pure cocoa butter (aproximately 4 oz) 1/4 tsp peppermint ground finely 1/6 tsp ginger powder 1/8 tsp fennel powder (no hulls when ground as hulls cause itching) 3-5 drops peppermint essential oil Mix in tub of cocoa butter. Apply daily throughout first trimester (or more as needed) Ramona Quoting melbeech <Sunny0345: > Hey, > > Do you know anything my daughter can take for nausea that will not > affect the baby. Guest guest
Ginger is wonderful for nausea during pregnancy! There are prenatal vitamins with extra B6 to help with nausea, also. What worked with all three of mine (aside from the two mentioned) was the motion sickness arm bands you wear on your wrists that apply gentle pressure to your wrists to curb sickness. They work great, too!! I feel for your daughter!!! It will get better nour ahamed <bedro182 wrote: that is regular with all pregnant women & if the nausea is severe vitamin B6 is commonlly injected to pregnant women it's very effective & safe for the baby & mother , don't be afraid melbeech <Sunny0345 wrote: Hey,Do you know anything my daughter can take for nausea that will not affect the baby.
