Guest guest
It has been a well know fact that a glass of alcohol ie beer or wine will aid in sleeping. The problem medical people face is identifying the alcoholic in the crowd that will consume the bottle of wine or case of beer to aid sleep. I think we could considerably reduce medical cost instead of depensing expensive sleeping pills if we just gave patients a glass of their favorite alcoholic drink. Alcohol is a sedative for most people but there are those rare exceptions to all rules. Guest guest
Yes! But it is also "Well Known" that alcohol used continually will annihilate a Liver. Do that for a while and you might as well put a gun to your head!!!! Anyone who has "chronic" problems sleeping has deeper issues, and using alcohol as a permanent remedy will not only destroy a Liver, but will mask the underlying condition that never does get addressed. The alcohol then becomes a crutch or a bandaid. Best is to find the cause of the sleeplessness (lack of calcium, lack of magnesium, lack of potassium, poor diet, drug addiction, stressful relationship, stressful job, etc. etc.) and then remedy it. It always boils down to something that is being done that shouldn't be, or something that isn't being done, that should be.
