Guest guest
Dear Doc, Hi!! Was just reading through some of your material - it is quite beautiful to read:) Was reading your suggestion of the garlic 'pultice' for skin tags. My question is, what would you recommend to a patient who wants to get rid of a skin tag when it's in a really sensitive area? ( such as eyelids, genitalia..) I have a patient who has an annoying skin tag on her labia majora, which tends to get in the way when she is shaving her bikin line, and get cut, etc. SHe really wants to get rid of it, what suggestions have you heard of or know about? In this case, am I better off referring her to get it removed by a GP, and then adhering aftercare and healing to reduce any scarring, etc. ?? Thanks and blessings, Hania
Guest guest
Dear Hania, A drop of DMSO on the spot over a weeks time should also give the desired result. You could also make a Garlic Tincture and use one simple drop on it. You may get a little irritation in one small area, but I don't know that you'd escape that going the Medico route either. Guest guest
I did this with the garlic on a mole and after an hour I had to take it off it burned so much. I went to a Naturopathic doctor and he looked at it and he said OH Sandra that is a second degree chemical burn. It turned purple and hurt really bad. It left a scare for a while. He ask me what did I do and I told him and he said never put straight garlic on your skin always put it with oil or something. The mole got real hard and then it pilled off by layers then it got soft and then hard again and pilled but it never went away. Doc what did I do wrong? Guest guest
Dear Gabby, The slab of Garlic regimen as written up in the Files for Warts will also work on Skin Tags, and even moles somewhat. In essence, you take a very small cross section of Garlic Clove and place it directly on the wart or tag. Cover with a circular band-aid and go to bed this way every night. During the day, take the band-aid off and just let it breath. Then do the same for evening #2 and so on until the wart or tag is gone. Sometimes they come off quicker than others, but the ususal time is about a week. Guest guest
Please I don't need criticism for the decisions I have made, but I need help. My son 19 months fell off of his slide and got to bad gashes on his leg/ I knew immediately they needed stitches ( he had 17 to be exact) I have been putting golden seal on the at every dressing change and also tea tree oil. I just want to make sure that that is enough. I would take any advice on reducing scarring also since I am sure on of the 2 will scar. Thanks in advance Yvette

Guest guest
I always use a salve with comfrey root, calendula, st. john's wort, burdock root and chaparral in a light oil base like apricot kernel oil thickened with natural beeswax. My son, now 12, has had many mishaps and little scarring to date. The greatest protection though, it keeping the wound, even after the stiches are removed, completely out of the sunlight. Direct sun, even with a sun screen with thicken the scar. So keep it well covered away from the sun for at least a year. Guest guest
i used garlic on a mole on the back of my 13 year old daughter's neck. it did burn, but i cut the garlic to match the mole and not touch the surrounding skin. the mole would get hard and flake a layer off...it got lighter and softer, but we did this for over a month.. so i think i also did something wrong or is this mole is stubborn. Guest guest
Go on-line. I got the black salve through Generations. The FDA is really going after it but it does work. I have some old files that show what it does. I used it on the side of my chest where I had a mastectomy and it recurred. It got two nodules and really burned through. It also got a spot on my arm that I thought was a freckle but it started bleeding. I used it there and whoee it burned way down and my lower arm was sore for about a week. It hit the muscle. Go to search and type in Black Salve and you should find a lot of sites. If you cannot find Generations contact me and I will give you a snail addy. They are located in Turlock, CA. Guest guest
Absolutely!!! Garlic will burn. It'll also kill a viral wart so that it drops off. Moles on the other hand are a little tougher and sometimes will not go away regardless of what you do, as I said in my earlier comm, these can be genetic (an argument I hate using, but true in this case). The only thing you may have done wrong was stop doing the process. Guest guest
Dear Yvette, No one is going to criticize you for doing what is right. As stated in the Herbal Remedies Home Page: The Medical Profession is useful when it comes to getting the bullets and the steering wheels out, but has totally betrayed our trust when it comes to diseases of a chronic nature by addressing only SYMPTOMS and specializing in Disease Management not Cures! If I got myself into an accident such as the one your son did, I'd go to a Medico myself. This IS what they are good for. Where I and the other pros on this list take umbrage is the Medico attempt to monopolize the entire field of healing when they absolutely fall on their faces when it comes to handling any disease of a chronic nature. The best thing to put on your son's wound is the Herbal First Aid Salve. To totally eliminate the scarring, you'd want to use the Total Healing Poultice Powder as in the Files and to mix this with a little DMSO when making the preparation. You did right. In Health, Freedom, and Love, Doc PS. And if anyone thinks the above is an open invitation to start promulgating Medico technology on list, please think again. The above says and means what it says. Guest guest
I totally agree with Doc. that the Medico's only treat the symptoms. My daughter is going on a 21 day trip to China. In preperation for this trip she had to do reports and research. The one topic she chose was Chinese Herbalism. Though there are many sections of , she chose the one area. Anyway the one thing we learned in this research was that the Chinese will go to a Medico for test and whatnot to find out what the problem is, the go to the Herbalist or whatever to treat the body to correct the problems. And they believe the whole body is involved for whatever symptoms Pam On 7/1/06, Dr. Ian Shillington <DocShillington wrote: Dear Yvette, No one is going to criticize you for doing what is right.
