Hi Everyone,

I am hoping for some fast input. My daughter and son-in-law came to visit

for one last time before he leaves for Iraq.

Eric (SIL) was doing pushups and my mom's dog thought to join in-not a good

thing! They head butted-HARD-and Eric now has a black eye swollen shut.

We'd like to get him somewhat fixed up before he has to return to base

Monday. I feel so bad about this.

I've got all kinds of herbs. Would arnica or comfrey be of any use?

Thanks in Advance,

Linda P

Here's one I found, hope it helps...

Black Eyes

Dilute 1 drop of geranium and 1 drop of chamomile in 2 teaspoons of witch

hazel and blend together well. Now add this to 1 tablespoon ice-cold water,

mix well, soak some cotton wool pads into the mixture . Close your eye and

apply pad to the eye lid and surrounding area.

Thanks Michele,

We're trying it out now! I only had German Chamomile, not Roman. I

hope that works with the Geranium.

Hello all,

I am new to the group and have been ill alot lately so I just read

the posts most of the time. I am amazed at the knowledge everyone has

here so I hope you guys can help me. I am a medical mess. I have

Chrohn's disease(intestional problems) and suffer from the worse form

of depression. I had cervical cancer years ago, but am now cancer free

so this isn't an issue. I also suffer from acid reflux and think very

soon they will tell me I have stomach ulcers. My 15 year old suffers

from acid reflux and migraines a lot-any advise would greatly be

appreciated as we know nothing of herbal issues -Thanks,

For acid reflux, you need to find out what foods trigger it. For me, there is one major trigger: Pizza hut pizza, one slice of that and I am doomed or 3-4 slices of any pizza. Some people get it from dairy products, everyone has a trigger food(s). What works for me is not eating at night and eating less fattening foods. For chrohn's disease, dairy is a no-no (milk, cheese, yogurt, eggs, icecream).alissa4621 <alissa4621 wrote: Hello all,I am new to the group and have been ill alot lately so I just readthe posts most of the time.
