Hi Doc and all, I just finished reading your note to Rik and wanted to ask for some clarification on what your response contained. I was especially interested in your comments regarding Coffee and Chocolate as weight triggers. I drink on average a cup and sometimes two a day. I use three teaspoons of Creamer per cup and usually a sweetener such as Stevia or Honey. I have done this for about five years. In that five year period I have noted an ever enlarging lower belly fat pad that resists anything I can do to get rid of it. I deep down inside know this is not normal because in that period of time I have not gained any weight. Thats not to say I am in shape but the fat has redistributed to the lower belly bigtime and I cant belive that this isnt hormone related? In reviewing my habits the Coffee drinking seems to stand out the most thus my bringing it up here. This could be totally unrelated and have

more to do with ageing or some other ellement but I really would like to know your opinion regarding just moderate drinking of Coffee and or Chocolate? Also anything you care to say regarding Creamer? Recent reports are saying that Coffee and the drinking or eating of dark Chocolate is actually good for you? It's sometimes really difficult to know what to belive these days? Thanks much! DonLife is not about how fast you run, or how high you climb, but how well you bounce

Don.. drop the creamer. like a hot rock... it is not a food, your body

doesnt know what to do with it other than wrap it in fat and hide it

far away from the system. your body isnt going to send poison any

further to do more damage. your sweetener hopefully is raw unfiltered

honey. perhaps you could try your coffee with out either. i did use

grade " B " maple syrup for a time when coming off sugar, but have since

left that behind also. non-foods create stress in the body, over work

the liver, digestion, and hormones... give yourself a break and you

will definately feel better.
