Guest guest
I am 61 years old. In December I weighed 185 lbs. and had bad gluclose, cholesterol, triglycerides, and blood pressure. I started Harvey Diamond's " Fit for Life " and lost 45 lbs. by March, fixed all the numbers, and have become a runner. I can do 5K in 28 minutes and have registered for my first race on July 15th. The only problem is that I keep straining the muscle at the bottom of my left calf, 3 times now. I know I eat right, I take a postassium supplement once a day, and same with vitamin E. I get enough bananas and avocados for potassium too, and I take 2 tablespoons of tart cherry juice concentrate in water every morning. I believe I warm up properly and stretch well enough before every run. After the 2nd injury I didn't run for 10 days. Then I began slowly and after a few days was able to do a 5K with no problems at all. Then I had a walk day, and the next day I tried another run, and then SNAP at the end of the first lap, and I had to hobble home. Very discouraging. Any advice appreciated, Dan

I hate to sound like a broken record today, but you need to go to: http://www.academyofnaturalhealing.com/ and listen to that free lecture of mine.
