Guest guest
Hello Friends! I could use your help My wife has had gums that bleed when she brushes ever since I have known her, but they seem to be getting worse, and now they even seem to just " start bleeding " on their own. Today she called me from work stressing about it, because a customer noticed it saying it looked like she had cut her lip (Not good, working in the food industry).I did some research for her and we've been able to narrow it down... At least part of it is because of PMS, as the bleeding is definitely worse during the weeks before her cycle begins. And most likely it is also a potassium carbonate deficiency, at least according to my herbal books... So my question is, what suggestions would any of you have to help with these two symptoms? I have an herbal book that suggests some herb I have never even heard of... and she expressed to me that she would rather add something to her diet, be able to EAT something than take another pill (She hates swallowing pills... and I'd rather see her change her diet anyway!) So what foods are rich in potassium, and what can I do about the PMS for her? She also suffers from severe constipation during PMS AND throughout her period too... according to the research I did that can also be associated to the lack of potassium (is this right?) I tried going through the archives, but didn't find too much more than recipes for home made brushing techniques... which we will do as well, I already have changed from store bought toothpaste to my own baking soda blend... but I am concerned especially with the seriousness of the bleeding and the possibility of her being deficient in potassium. Thank you so much in advance ) Love and Blessings, ~Raaven
Guest guest
Osiyo Raaven! Swishing CS after brushing will kill any and all gum disease pathogens consequently tightening the gum to tooth area. Brushing/messaging the gums is as important as brushing the teeth. I use an OralB rotary battery operated brush and get all gum stimulation I need using only baking soda.
