Guest guest
Hi Anne! Please closely read the excerpt below from a post by Doc Shillington, owner of this group: "Instant Banning Policy Posted by: "Dr. Ian Shillington" DocShillington drianshillington Wed Jun 21, 2006 11:05 am (PST) (A copy of this policy gets sent out to all those who are banned from Herbal Remedies. It also gets sent out to new members who newly join so they areaware of what the guidelines are. If you just joined, please don't worry ;-)You haven't been banned) If you joined, received all of the group's policies, and then violated one of them and then receive this in a new unit of time -You're banned and not welcome on this list.INSTANT BANNING POLICYNo Warning - Instant BanningA few newer members have been promoting Allopathic solutions on HR.Others join and then promote Multilevel Marketing / Network Marketing schemesor their own businesses.Still others start blabbing about health solutions that their Uncle Ernie told their second cousin's grandmother's hairdresser about, and end up throwing theentire list into confusion.Herbal Remedies is now well over 5,000 strong and myself and my overworkedmoderators just don't have the time to police every little disagreement.Sooooooo, the following policy is now fully in place and implemented.HERBAL REMEDIES IS NATUROPATHIC ONLY!!!Even though it is acknowledged that the Medicos have their use in getting the bullets and the steering wheels out, it is the policy of this list to promote and discuss only "Natural" solutions. There are no exceptions!!!THE MEDICOS DO NOT HAVE ANY DECENT SOLUTIONS FOR DISEASES OF A CHRONIC NATURE!!!NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!Anyone looking for Medico Solutions should go to an allopathic list and leaveHerbal Remedies List in a peaceful way with no fan fare.Anyone posting allopathic solutions to Herbal Remedies will be instantly banned. There will be no recourse. I don't have the time to investigate someone's personal disagreement with this and neither do my moderators." SNIP Anne! May I please ask you some questions about your credentials?. In this list we are supposed to share actual experiences of using herbal remedies, see above post from Doc. So when you make a recommendation on using something is it done from personal experience and if so please list your actual experience, or is your posting just something you read somewhere?. Are you a naturopath? Are you a homeopath? Are you a certified master herbalist? Are you an MD?. Just what is your background that allows you to recommend anything on this herbal remedies website?. Am I wrong in asking for clarification?. Alarm bells ring for me when something is posted in a manner to include all possibilities. I call this an unsubstantiated gross statement. I have been wrong before, But when it comes to my health I do not take everything posted as a truth and I do dig for FACTS. I will even experiment on myself to verify a herbal remedy that has helped someone else. A lot of my knowledge comes from the NA (Native American) culture. Guest guest
Not true. Nutritional Yeast is NON active, whereas Brewer's Yeast is fully active and is supposed to be and doing what it was designed to do which is why they use it to raise bread and make beer. Solgar is actually a bit on the inferior side. You want to use only: Non-Active Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Nutritional Yeast This yeast is grown on beets and pure molasses. It is the second highest source of complete protein in nature (50%), and the richest source of B Vitamins. It is also a rich source of Iron and many other minerals. The yeast is heated high enough to absolutely destroy any yeast activity, but not high enough to lessen the B Vitamin content. It is totally NON active and safe for people with Candida Albicans or on yeast free diets. SUGAR is what feeds "Candidis Albican"; Nutritional Yeast does NOT contain Sugar and if it does list Sugar on the label do NOT buy it.*Nutritional Yeast" goes by names such as: *Yeast Powder; Yeast Flakes; Yeast Granules; Yeast Tablets; Brewer's Yeast and Nutritional Yeast. The best bet is to buy a well-known brand such as "Solgar".Summary: *Nutritonal Yeast and Yeast Infections are not correlated. In fact Nutritional Yeast could actually help cure a Yeast infection. The other treatment for Yeast Infections is Yogurt and Pro-Biotics.\Tip: Nutritional Yeast is actually a type of "mushroom"! A Yeast Infection is a Bad-Bacteria...no correlation what so ever.
