Guest guest
I hope this is all ok to post... but I am on day 15 of my MC, and I have incorporated teas back into my diet (Eliminating the senna, which I used for the first 11 days) and as of today I also started taking my usual daily supplements as well... and I just wanted to see what others thought of this... even though Burroughs says not to take supplements during the cleanse, I was just beginning to feel like my body was missing something nutritionally. I was also wondering how any of you choose to break your fast. I am trying to plan for 5 days following my last day and was just curious. Also, I noticed my body aching really bad, especially severe back pains (I tried blaming this on the rain, but the pain is pretty bad just to be damp joints... lol) and also it seems my kidney (The worse of the two) still hurts some, especially in the morning. And, through the entire fast I have had bad heartburn of and on. Any suggestions on these issues? I highly appreciate all of Doc's clarifying posts today, and I also want to thank everyone for everything... I adore this group, and lord knows what a mess it would be if we didn't have the strict guidelines! But I have been blessed with so much good knowledge and learning, and it has reminded me that we must never stop learning! Learning and of course, UNlearning... Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks... I am coming onto the end of a long fast where I have detox'ed successfully from an almost 2 decade addiction to nicotine, not to mention ephedra, caffeine, MSG, and lord knows what else!!! I was addicted to advil, excedrin, and anything to ease an ulcer before all this too. Yet I just lived through a cycle without even a single mg of anything mecicated! And I am now planning on keeping the efforts by living vegetarian after the fast is over... all of this, though the hardest thing I have ever done, was so much easier to endure with everyone's support and encouragement and tips on how to make it a bit smoother road. So thanks, everyone ) I was the epitome of a " dead girl walking " before all this, and I consider this my SUPPORT group more than anything! And my journey has only just begun... I love you! ) Love and Blessings, ~Raaven
