Please read back postings because I get tired of posting the same info so many times.

I use ashwugandha and He Shou Wu for enlarged prostrate. I buy bulk and encapsulate my own '0' size. Each makes about a 250 mg cap. and I take one a day.

Hello Everyone!

 

There seems to be some confusion to my herbal remedy for an enlarged

prostrate.

 

I buy Ashwugandha and He Shou Wu in bulk and encapsulate one powder at

a time in '0' size caps. I do 24 at a time with my little machine.

 

Then I take one cap of Ashwugandha and one cap of He Shou Wu once a

day in the evenings.

How much Saw palmetto are you taking - I'd recommend 160mg standardised extract twice daily.

Stinging nettle and Red clover infusions are great too.

 

There have been some studies on a less known herb called Pygeum africanum, which has been shown to provide some relief also.

 

You could also try a garlic clove pessary.

 

Also I wonder what vitamins he has recommended but Vit C and Zinc would be the key ones I would recommend. You need to make sure you are taking high quality supplements as this is key to them working. I would strongly recommend Zinc picolinate 50mg daily on an empty stomach.

 

Also increase your intake of essential fatty acids.

 

Foods to introduce would be those with a high isoflavone content such as soya, chickpeas, lentils, beans and those high in lycopene (cooked tomatoes in olive oil, or, dare I say it, ketchup!)
