what it does is cleanse the eye and removes the mucusy build up from pink eye...my oldest son's doctor recommended this when he was an infant for a cold that had settled in his eyes.I keep a bottle mixed in the medicine cabnet all the time! It is very soothing to the eyes ... Celtic Lily

*Using Boric Acid diluted in Sterile water and put in an Eye-

cup and then held to the Eye is an excellent wash and help.

This treatment is considered 100% safe if diluted w/warm water. A.

You can also place a clean hot washcloth on the eye with eye closed;

let it stay til cool; repeat; using fresh hot water each time. --- In

One hundred years ago (kidding) Boric acid in an eye cup was the home

remedy for conjunctivitis - Pink Eye and worked most of the time but

sometimes burned terribly.

Today I use homemade CS - colloidal silver solution by spraying ($0.97

Walmart trigger sprayer) directly into the eyelid held open eye and it

cures it in a couple of days.

Last April I awoke Friday morning with the crusty gummy grainy eyes

and cured it by Sunday with a few application during the day.

Very little stinging occurs and the cooling after wash is great.

I've read several posts about homemade colloidal silver and now my curiosity is sparked. What is it and what is homemade about it, what is it used for (almost sounds like a little of everything), and where do you get it?

thanks everyone for your input on boric acid eye flush
