Guest guest
Has anyone heard of using boric acid diluted in sterile water for eye flush for pink eye. And if so, have you had any success with it working?

Guest guest
*Using Boric Acid diluted in Sterile water and put in an Eye- cup and then held to the Eye is an excellent wash and help. This treatment is considered 100% safe if diluted w/warm water. A. You can also place a clean hot washcloth on the eye with eye closed; let it stay til cool; repeat; using fresh hot water each time. --- In herbal remedies , " sheardb " <dbeardshear wrote: > > Has anyone heard of using boric acid diluted in sterile water for eye > flush for pink eye. Guest guest
One hundred years ago (kidding) Boric acid in an eye cup was the home remedy for conjunctivitis - Pink Eye and worked most of the time but sometimes burned terribly. Today I use homemade CS - colloidal silver solution by spraying ($0.97 Walmart trigger sprayer) directly into the eyelid held open eye and it cures it in a couple of days. Last April I awoke Friday morning with the crusty gummy grainy eyes and cured it by Sunday with a few application during the day. Very little stinging occurs and the cooling after wash is great.
