Guest guest
Hello everyone......I have chronic lyme disease and have read a book by Stephen Buhner..."Healing Lyme". He has written many other books on herbs and plants ...as some of you may know. He recommends several herbs, some of which can be grown here...artemesia annua and Japanese Knotweed...and maybe even American Ginseng. I'm wondering if there are any websites or books that any of you would recommend that have to do with growing medicinal herbs, harvesting them and how to prepare them into tinctures, dry powders for capsules, etc. Knotwwed is supposed to be invasive so I was thinking it would be great...if found to be really helpful for lyme, if people could be educated on how to use the plant for making flutes, medicine and eating the leaves for food. All this instead of using poisons to erradicate it. Buhner suggests that invasive plants to use for certain illnesses , tend to grow where the invasive diseases are. Thanks Margie
