Guest guest
Cancer is considered as the plague of our age, young-old, male and female, rich and poor that threatens everyone does not have definitive treatment of the principles is a dangerous disease. The causes of cancer is yet unknown. However, some factors that are known to cause cancer are genetic engineering of our food, environmental pollution, smoking and etc.. On the same though, pests and pesticides are triggers and should be considered as the most serious threats. As in many countries around the world, our country combats mosquitoes and insects by chemical gases that are released into the atmosphere. These toxic chemicals that we breathe claim to be safe to our health. Based on the research of Türkiye Alternatif Tedaviler Birliği (Turkish Alternative Treatments Union) almost all cancer patients protect themselves from mosquitoes by utilizing mosquito repellents/poisons. Almost every part of Turkey is utilizing pesticides to combat pests. The fruits and vegetables we consume have been prohibited the United States and Europe. Due to this we are subjected to the use of DDT (dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane) and similar pesticides which are toxic chemicals. The consumption of these foods is thought to trigger cancer. Research has shown people living in rural areas that deal and work with pesticides have shown a higher rate of cancer. Insect repellents and pesticides and their mechanisms of action have had negative effects on human health like Alzheimer’s, brain tumors and many other cancers. By fat in body tissues dissolving, by participating in the food chain, by breathing the pesticides through the respiratory system and/or by entering our metabolism this process may adversely affect the immune system. The British Occupational and Environmental Medicine Journal published a study regarding insect repellents and pesticides. The research showed that farmers that are exposed to pesticides are at a double risk of developing brain tumors. Even the most dangerous brain tumor, the glioma tumor is three times likely to develop in the farmers. These chemicals primarily affect acetylcholine neurotransmitter in the nervous system by creating a toxic effect on the whole metabolism of the human health. These unhealthy threats also affect our children and many generations to come. To prevent pests and pesticide use, the use of alternative health methods should be use to explored to educate people who are forced to use these chemicals. These pesticides break down the immune system. Due to this, in the next century cancer is expected to be one of the most dangerous health problems. In recent times, the increase in cancer cases is regarded as globally threat. As shown by in the Congo tick which spreads Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) it is speculation that such an increase of pesticide use is being considered. We hope will relevant ministries, government agencies, the media and medical community take the necessary steps to raise awareness of the effects of pesticides to human health. http://www.kanser.ca/
