Guest guest
Hello all! I'm new to the group and have been interested in herbs for several years now (mostly animal based). I'm having a real hard time finding some answers to some questions I have and was hoping those experienced in natural health could assist me. I am currently looking for a college level program to earn a degree in relation to herbal remedies (master herbalist preferably). However, being laid off and a single mother I'm hoping to get an accredited program where I can take advantage of the government financial aid opportunities. Now as most already know I cannot find any program that is from an accredited school that has the fafsa option available. I had asked a question on answers and people suggested botany or horticulture degrees. Would these give me what I'm looking for in regards to the herbal aspect? Would I have to go on to take additional certifications in order to achieve my goal? Which would be the most beneficial, botany or horticulture? Or do you have any other degree suggestions. And also, are you aware of any accredited online degree programs in either? I appreciate any help that you may be able to offer Tiffany NH
