Why I trust me more than doctors

I totally agree. I know I would be one of those

Statistics if I had not taken charge of my health.

I insist the doctors work for ME, not the pharmacy,

Etc. I was born w/ a very rare heart disorder & now have

Sev auto immune disorders. (RA, asthma, etc)

It's hard to get my armour thyroid now.

" scientists " have been known to fudge results because they were bought

by drug companies.

 

I used to think that doctors were all willfully ignorant about

orthomolecular medicine. I still think many docs are willfully

ignorant, but now that I know that Medline refuses to index the

Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine, I acknowledge that even doctors

looking for alternatives to the drugs the drug companies want them to

push often just can't find information on high dose vitamins.

Doctors remove symptoms. They often do not understand causes,

nor do they offer cures.

 

Let me give you an example.

 

A friend of mine had a big problem with weight gain, no matter

what she ate. She went to the doc. Doc put her on a diet. She stayed

on the diet. Doc decided she needed to get her thyroid removed. She

still was overweight. Doc then did intestinal bypass surgery.

 

She has had cascading health problems over the past 30+ years.

When she uses the toilet, she has the absolute nastiest smelling bowel

movements I have ever smelled. Likewise the worst breath of anyone I

have ever kissed.

 

Hormones (like the thyroid produces) are designed to be

secreted as one's body needs them. Now she must take thyroid hormones

which are not under the direction of her body. The intestinal bypass

means her bowel ecology is a disaster, she does not utilize vitamins

and minerals properly.

 

The allopathic health industry is pig ignorant of causes and

healing. There is a danger in going to doctors for problems.

 

According to the Journal of the American Medical Association,

Doctors are the third leading cause of death in the US, causing

250,000 deaths every year.

In my not so humble opinion, the solution to any health

problem is best approached by becoming a world-class expert in that

particular problem.

Note that Obamacare and most health insurance plans will not

cover anything by the allopathic docs who know very little about

curing and causes.

 

A teacher in the spiritual lineage I follow used to ask aspirants,

" In times of difficulty and danger in whom do you place your trust? "

 

Yes, it is a pain in the butt, and a real eater of time to

have what amounts to a second job which does not pay wages, nor does

it grant a degree which would allow me to make $$ from consultations.

OTOH, this is the only life I have. If I do not value my life enough

to spend all my free time pursuing health, why should I expect some

ignorant doctor to do a better job at a price I can afford?
