Gary Springer introduction and Ringworm or Scabies - Ouch

Hello, My name is Gary Springer. I'm a nutritionist, naturopath, health coach

and author of They're Making You Fat and Sick, It's Big Business and Big Mondy.

I joined your site only moments ago and had planned to read several posts before

jumping in but after reading the first post, I was urged to provide what I think

about ringworm.

 

I have found that ringworm most often clears up nicely and permanently when

probiotic maintenance is followed. Ringworm seems to be an outgrowth of candida.

So, in addition to probiotics, abstain from sugar and follow the same treatments

as for yeast infections.

 

But, in writing my comments about ringworm, I broke my first rule of healing.

" Never prescribe a treatment of one or two natural compounds. "

 

Each human being is an individual. As such we can experience a wide range of

sysmptoms from a single deficiency or stressor.

 

So, let me back up.

 

My purpose in life is to help people heal themselves and to improve the planet

for wildlife.

 

Please note I said I want to help people to heal themselves, not that I want to

heal people. Nothing or no one can heal you but your own inner life force!!!

 

Once you realize that the battle for perfect health is half over.

 

The life force within you needs nothing at all except the same air, water, and

food humans have used for hundreds of thousands of years.

 

You don't need special foods and special man made synthetic toxic drugs or even

herbs although these can be a small part of treatment.

 

To help the body heal itself, there are 5 simple steps:

 

1) eliminate or decimate all the harmful stress from your life(stressful

relationships, toxins and other stressors in the environment,in the food, in

your blood, in the work place etc.

 

2)eat a diet that consists of the most nutritious foods (as determined by the

quantity and variety of essential nutrients) and eat these foods in the raw

state as much as possible, or cooked quickly in boiling water(never grilled,

baked at high temperatures or for long periods). Supplement these highly

nutritious foods with natural antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Modern man

can now extract from food the powerful micronutrient compounds that the body has

used for thousands of years. Adding these to a nutritious diet makes sure the

body has all the tools it needs to beat oxidative stress, inflamation and other

conditions so it can achieve perfect health.

 

3) You must turn over your body to your inner life force in the process of

sleep. Sleep is one of the most important parts of cure. But, before you

sleep, you want to make sure your body has all the nutritious foods and vitamins

that was explained in number 2. This is important because the body will heal

itself when you get your conscious mind out of the way and let the inner life

force do its job when you sleep. But, if you have an empty stomach when you

sleep, your body doesn't have the tools it needs to heal itself.

 

4)Exercise is important. But not the crazy kind of exercise most westerners do.

Our bodies are not made to run long distances and work real hard. Humans use

their brains more! Walking and light swimming are the best exercises. Also

good is stretching and controlled movement like dancing. And never do your

exercise near automobiles or other sources of polution.

 

5) The last thing is actually the most important thing. YOU MUST HAVE A PURPOSE

FOR LIVING AND THAT PURPOSE MUST BE FOR THE GOOD OF OTHER PEOPLE OR THE PLANET.

When you are working for your life purpose that strengthens and heals others,

you work persistantly and the work not only makes your heart light, it also puts

your body and mind into motion when you are doing the work.

 

Instead of taking this approach to living and cure, when people experience pain

or sickness, they start looking for a specific herb, a vitamin, a drug, or a

therapy to make them better. So you have people who are 20 to 100 pounds

overweight trying to determine what vitamin is causing any one of the symptoms

caused by obesity, or, someone who drinks 5 cups of coffee and never exercises

looking for an herb to relieve a symptom.

 

The solution to cure is to give the body all of the normal things it needs.

Nothing special or fancy.

 

These 5 steps will lead to cure because they make the entire body strong. Of

course there are exceptions and some extraordinary measures that need to be

taken at times, but even then, I believe in limiting procedures to

orthomolecular " medicine " .

 

Please excuse for the long introduction.

 

One last thing. Never worry about hurting my feelings. If you disagree, tell
