Guest guest
I love to eat raw and feel great when I do, but my ayurvedic Dr. and Accupuncturist both think my digestion is too weak for raw. Not sure what to do?
Guest guest
I like the Ayurvedic philosophy and apply it to my eating, etc. Are you sure you feel great or is it your ego. If you really feel great, then eat raw but I would presume you are vata and need more warmth and easier to digest foods. Easier to digest is key. Try foods like kitcheree and lightly steamed foods. If you want to eat raw, then grate things that are hard like carrots, beets, etc.You can even warm them up a little. If it is your dosha, then ferment them for easier digestion. According to yoga and Ayurvedic principles, the stool should float so check that.
