Guest guest
I am recently beginning my studies into herbs and the like and was wondering if anyone knows any websites or good books that cover herbs and minerals that i can study. Preferably a list that might also cover what ailments the should not be used on as well would be great. I mean i don't want to give a person who has high blood pressure something that will raise their blood or someone with anemia something that will might thin out their blood, you know. No, i do not plan on starting to give anyone anything until i have a comprehensive understanding of what i am doing, i am not stupid and would never recommend something to anyone unless i was 100% it would do them good and not bad. Guest guest
A few places online that have always been helpful to me have been Wiki (anything in general) or AromaWeb.com (for essential oil profiles, etc.). I'm in the process of compiling a lot of that data on my website forum but it's not anywhere near complete as I have just started. Honestly, if you're looking to learn, Google (or any search engine) is your friend. Just type it in and start reading. Julia Lawless has several books on the subject (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_9?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks & field-\ keywords=julia+lawless & sprefix=julia+law) The Healing Herbs ~ Michael Castleman (http://www.amazon.com/Healing-Herbs-Ultimate-Curative-Medicines/dp/0553569880). Hope that helps get you started , " run_away_spirit " <run_away_spirit wrote: > > I am recently beginning my studies into herbs and the like and was wondering if anyone knows any websites or good books that cover herbs and minerals that i can study.
