Guest guest
On medications: The steroids consume kd yang and jing, scatter qi. . . ..while being taken, tend to create yin xu fire, afterwards, yang vacuity cold. There is also a gradual accumulation of dampness (moon face, buffalo hump, weight gain, etc.) and/or phlegm, and internal generation of wind (psychosis, nightmares, unstable hun and shen). Chinese tx. is to harmonize the shao yang, supplement kd and jing/essence, disinhibit dampness and phlegm, and/or clear heat. Imuran is another problem. It is extremely toxic, can cause liver and kidney damage, damages the blood, can cause skin rash, fever, hair loss and malignancy. I personally will not treat a patient who uses this drug ( or other immunosuppressents)! Reactions with immuno-supportive treatments such as herbal medicine and acupuncture is unknown, my experiences are not promising. The last lupus patient I saw developed severe circulation problems with this drug, I wouldn't treat her until she stopped taking it. Unfortunately, she developed severe bone marrow suppression and died in the hospital before her next appointment. I have nothing but distaste for this type of treatment. > Dear Karen and Zev, Thanks for your input. The woman is already a >vegetarian and I have altered her diet greatly. Guest guest
All disease is curable, but not all people are. If she is determined to handle it, and willing to do what it takes she can beat this. I'd have her do my Incurables Program as outlined in the Files. The place to begin is with that FREE CD Lecture of mine. If she listens to it, and is willing to take full responsibility for her condition, I'd work with her. Guest guest
I have a friend who has been diagnosed as having Lupus. She has severe joint pain as a result. I Googled the problem and saw where some people with Lupus respond well to antioxidants and she is now taking high levels of Resveratrol. We will see how that goes, but I would be grateful for any help within the group that might help her.
